Job Summary:

They also evaluate compliance with regulations including review of governance and risk management processes and related controls.
Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:
Ensure the engagement is set up correctly, including access provisioning for tools (e.g., Aura, Connect, Phoenix) and proper team is assigned.
Consider all relevant material events and developments that may impact the engagement’s scope, risk, or procedures.
Initiate and participate in discussions with global component teams to obtain insights and ensure appropriate procedures are followed.
Identify issues, misstatements, and significant matters; document and communicate them clearly and in detail.
Monitor progress of all team members and client deliverables; own the project plan and escalate deviations or necessary changes promptly.
Review risk assessments and workpapers; discuss changes with the engagement manager to maintain high-quality outputs.
Coach and develop junior staff; provide learning opportunities, balance workloads, and support colleagues’ professional growth.
Manage client communications and meetings (e.g., catch-ups, timelines, priorities); contribute to budgeting and resourcing, while keeping senior members informed and ensuring time for coaching and development.
Drive preparation for audit file archiving and quality checks; plan and complete key tasks during downtime (e.g., drafting ISA-related communications) to improve efficiency.
Lead or contribute to debriefs with teams and clients; propose actionable improvements for future engagements.

Qualifications & Certifications:
ICEAW, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
Skills & Experience Required:

Minimum 1-year post-qualification experience.
Prior experience working with clients within financial services industry.
Ability to lead teams, coach juniors and hold discussions with clients.

You will have excellent team-working skills and a flexible approach when faced with new challenges.
