Your New Role…

As a key contributor to the Warner Bros. Discovery Revenue Accounting team, you will report to the Revenue Accounting Director and support the revenue accounting function across WBD EMEA Networks.
You will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition by applying IFRS and US GAAP standards. This role includes end-to-end ownership of revenue accounting processes, from contract analysis through to reporting, while driving process improvements and strengthening controllership.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Own and manage revenue accounting processes, ensuring compliance with IFRS and US GAAP

  • Review and interpret contracts, providing guidance on revenue recognition and accounting treatment

  • Lead, develop, and manage a team of Accountants, including performance and career development

  • Prepare and review revenue accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and ensure timely reporting

  • Drive process improvements and automation across revenue accounting workflows

  • Manage internal and external audits, including SOX controls and compliance requirements

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Degree in accounting or finance with proven experience in revenue accounting within an international environment

  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and/or US GAAP, particularly revenue recognition principles

  • Proven experience in team management and stakeholder collaboration

  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred)

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail

  • Fluent English and ability to communicate complex topics effectively

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
