Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments We’re looking for a dynamic, analytically minded individual to join our Manchester-based Settlements team, playing a key role in a high-volume, global environment.

About the team  

Our global finance team responsible for managing settlements across EMEA & APAC for 11 legal entities, handling payables and receivables in 80+ currencies.

What you’ll own

In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining financial integrity and supporting business operations:

  • Prepare and post accurate journal entries and account postings
  • Investigate and resolve erroneous entries, rejected payments, and transaction issues
  • Perform detailed account reconciliations across high transaction volumes
  • Analyse financial data and statements to identify trends and discrepancies
  • Partner with operational teams to resolve client queries and improve processes
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within finance operations

What you bring

  • Solid understanding of accounting procedures and reconciliation processes
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs)
  • Proven experience handling large-scale reconciliations
  • Strong capability in managing and analysing high volumes of financial data
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail

Added bonus if you have:

  • Experience working with Oracle or similar financial systems
  • Exposure to Snowflake and/or Tableau for data analysis and reporting
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a numerical subject (e.g. Finance, Accounting, Mathematics or similar)
