About the Role
FD UK Corporate Tax team is seeking an Executive-level professional based in India to support UK tax compliance and advisory engagements.
This is an excellent opportunity for early-career professionals to gain exposure to UK tax regulations, multinational clients, and cross-border tax matters while working closely with senior UK-based team members.
Responsibilities
- Prepare UK corporation tax computations and returns (CT600), including supporting schedules
- Assist in preparation of tax provisions and tax-related disclosures for financial statements
- Support the review and analysis of trial balances, statutory accounts, and client data
- Perform tax adjustments (capital allowances, disallowable expenses, loss utilisation, etc.)
- Assist in preparation of R&D tax computations and supporting documentation (where applicable)
- Work on HMRC post-filing queries and assist with drafting responses
- Conduct technical research on UK corporate tax issues and summarise findings
- Support advisory assignments including group structuring, cross-border issues, and tax planning
- Liaise with UK team members to ensure timely delivery of client work
- Maintain high standards of documentation, risk management, and quality control
Qualifications
- Semi-qualified CA / MBA / MCom / BCom or equivalent qualification
- 1–2 years of experience in UK Corporate Tax (preferred) or general taxation/accounting
- Basic understanding of UK corporation tax principles (or strong willingness to learn)
- Experience working with accounting data and financial statements
- Strong Excel and analytical skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Working Model
- India-based role (Hyderabad or other FD India office)
- Work from office at least 3 days per week (as per company policy)
