This role is central to ensuring financial accuracy, discipline, and strategic visibility across a fast-growing international e-commerce business operating across multiple markets and sales channels. You will oversee end-to-end financial management, including reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and internal controls in a dynamic, fully remote environment. The position requires strong ownership of month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across operations, marketing, and finance to support data-driven decision-making. This is a high-impact role where precision, scalability, and process improvement are key to supporting continued global growth. The environment is fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and highly collaborative.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes with accuracy, ensuring timely and compliant financial reporting.
  • Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including treasury, general ledger, and financial reporting functions while driving process efficiencies and automation.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure financial data integrity, alignment with internal policies, and compliance with IFRS/GAAP standards.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal controls, ensuring proper authorization frameworks and protection of company assets.
  • Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes, including cash flow planning, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
  • Support external audits, tax filings, and regulatory reporting while ensuring quality control over all financial outputs.
  • Requirements:

    • CPA designation required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
    • 7+ years of combined accounting and finance experience in progressively responsible roles.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting standards, and core accounting principles.
    • Proven experience managing month-end close processes and preparing financial statements.
    • Hands-on experience implementing internal controls and improving financial processes in a growing organization.
    • Proficiency with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar platforms.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
    • Experience working with external auditors and third-party vendors.
