IT Internal Audit Senior Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a IT Internal Audit Senior Analyst based in India.

In this role, you will be part of a global internal audit function focused on assessing and strengthening IT risk, security, and control environments across complex technology ecosystems. You will evaluate emerging areas such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, AI, and automation while ensuring compliance with global security frameworks and standards. The role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and provides the opportunity to influence risk management practices at scale. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and globally distributed environment, supporting both audit execution and advisory initiatives. Beyond audits, you will contribute to improving processes, enhancing automation, and strengthening governance frameworks. Accountabilities:

In this role, you will contribute to the execution of risk-based IT audit plans and support independent assessments of IT controls, security, and governance frameworks across global operations. You will evaluate risks across infrastructure, applications, and emerging technologies while providing advisory support to business stakeholders on improving control environments.

  • Participate in and execute risk-based internal IT audits, documenting findings and reporting outcomes to leadership and governance committees
  • Assess technology risks across cybersecurity, cloud platforms, AI, RPA, and other emerging digital ecosystems
  • Support advisory engagements to help business teams identify, manage, and mitigate IT and operational risks
  • Evaluate IT general controls, security standards, and compliance with frameworks such as ISO 27001, PCI DSS, HIPAA, and NIST
  • Contribute to audit planning, data analysis, and continuous improvement of audit methodologies and processes
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure timely resolution of audit findings and strengthen control environments
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in IT audit, information security, or technology risk management within complex enterprise environments. You should have strong technical understanding combined with analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to work across global teams.

    • Minimum 2+ years of experience in IT audit, IT controls testing, cybersecurity compliance, or related technical risk roles
    • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, including cloud environments, networks, virtualization, and application systems
    • Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, HIPAA, or equivalent standards
    • Familiarity with ERP systems, operating systems (Windows/Unix), and vendor risk management concepts
    • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills with attention to detail
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders across technical and business teams
    • Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, or equivalent are highly preferred
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
