AI Engineering Intern, Summer 2026
The mission
At Prosper, we are moving away from rigid, static software toward Intent-Driven Orchestration. Whether it’s a customer-facing portal or a high-stakes internal workspace, we believe professional tools and web pages should be fluid—adapting in real-time to the user's intent rather than forcing them to navigate "problem tentacles" and cluttered screens. You will help build the engine that translates complex company knowledge into immediate, successful actions across all our platforms.
Your role in our mission
You will build at the intersection of Large Language Models (LLMs) and actionable code. Your goal is to move beyond "chat" and build systems that have the context and the "hands" to solve problems autonomously or in partnership with a user.
How you'll make an impact
System Connectivity: Build and use MCP (Model Context Protocol) Servers to securely bridge the gap between large models and our internal/external data ecosystems.
Knowledge Synthesis: Develop advanced RAG pipelines that transform vast, evolving documentation into a dynamic "Source of Truth" for real-time decision-making.
Fluid Interface Logic: Engineer workflows that prioritize relevancy over frequency, ensuring that both internal professional tools and external web pages surface the right data at the right time.
GCP Implementation: Deploy and optimize these services using Vertex AI, ensuring high-speed execution, privacy, and robust security.
Skills that will help you thrive
Languages: Python, Java
AI Specialization: Experience with Function Calling, and orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangGraph or Vertex AI Reasoning Engine).
AI-Literacy: High proficiency in using AI coding assistants to navigate complex deployments and optimize system architecture.
