Location: Gurugram

Employment Type: Full Time

Must have skills: Power Apps, SQL, Power BI, Power Query, API management, database management, VBA, Python.  Secondary Market Research, M&A Research, Competitor intelligence, Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint/Excel/Word), Agentic AI certification

Good to have skills: Secondary research, Database knowledge

Experience: Minimum 1- 2 year(s) of experience is required

Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree, MBA

Job Summary:
As an Analyst, you will be a member of a Corp Dev team focused on performing V&A (Ventures and Acquisition) market research assessments for a broad spectrum of industries.  

You will report to the Manager of Market Due Diligence and will be part of a growing global and multicultural team. 


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Automating reporting initiatives required by the global senior leadership.
  • Implementing visualization dashboards and communicate insights generated from the analysis in a clear and concise manner
  • Support database implementation & migration processes. Handle enhancements, questions & ad-hoc requirements.
  • Support process improvement and process innovation initiatives through e.g. improving ETL processes, designing analytic metrics, relevant monitoring KPIs, implementing complex visualizations, implementing algorithms to organize information or automating processes.
  • Train & enable other teams to leverage the tools & methodologies developed internally.
  • Helping build M&A acquisition landscapes, by collaborating with local and global senior leadership and their business strategy teams, supporting analysis of target companies for suitability and researching priority market sectors.
  • Preparing strategic decks & presentations to help local & global leadership in the internal M&A decision making process.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Must have 

  • 1-2 years of working experience required with PowerApps & Power Automate. Experience in Secondary Research, Strategy, M&A research, competitive intelligence, financial analysis or similar consulting/corporate background
  • Knowledge of database management or programming languages to handle and visualize data e.g. SQL. 
  • Working experience with PowerBI.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Certification in Agentic AI
  • Team player committed to providing high quality work in a timely manner

Preferred skills 

  • Skilled user of Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Data science, machine learning related knowledge/experience
  • Experience with research databases, e.g. CapitalIQ, Pitchbook and CB Insights
  • Knowledge of programming languages to handle and visualize data e.g. Python, VBA, API management (intermediate eager to improve might also work!)

Additional Information:
- The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in market research or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful deliverables in the M&A Domain.
- This position is based at our Gurugram or Bengaluru office.
