Job Role
Chevron invites applications for the role of Lead Data Analyst - Profiling & Cleansing. Successful candidates will join a successful multifunction workforce of SAP resources providing business services and solutions across the globe
We are seeking candidates experienced in gathering, analyzing and preparing data for migration based on data quality, types of data, and relationships among data elements within a legacy ERP system and with business domain subject matter expertise.
Responsibilities
Ensure alignment across Digital Core Release 4(R4) Internal & External Stakeholders on program milestones and deliverables for the Data Cleansing workstream.
Serves as the project manager for the Data profiling & cleansing execution.
Ensure Data Plan is aligned and understood within DC functional ARTs and within the BUs. Data cleansing plan to begin with Asset Management (AM) data, followed by Material Master (MM), Finance (FIN) and Hydro-carbon value chain (HCVC). Communicates significant plan changes to the BU and shared services
Develops a R4 DC cleansing roadmap with clear internal milestones across functional Data teams and BU cleansing PM.
Tracks and reports out the progress on profiling and cleansing activities across the enterprise (DC, BU, SS) which rolls up into the program updates.
Plans and Coordinates requirements gathering for profiling and cleansing.
Can explain execution details, outcomes and connect the dots across DC ARTs PMs, DC Data POs and BU PMs
Conducts X-functional retros within DC and influence data teams’ execution tactics proactively.
Support Data Cleansing Workstream Readiness and coordination with testing, cutover and deployment workstreams.
Risks and Issues resolution
Conduct training and onboarding of new BUs and new members on the data cleansing workstream
Required Skill
Senior Project Management – milestones driven (not agile)
Experience in JDE OR SAP – ECC OR S/4 data models.
Proven experience with ERP data transformations - master data standardization, conversion, migration or cutover areas
Experience engaging Business stakeholders
Preferred Skill
Chevron specific knowledge of JDE and S/4 preferred
Process automation (RPA, AI, dashboarding, etc…)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
