Role Overview
As a Business Analyst within the Enterprise IT Legal, Compliance & Security Value Team, you will support the Compliance Product Line, delivering technology solutions for the Ethics & Compliance Office (ECO). You will primarily focus on the Restricted Party Screening (RPS) program, executing within clearly defined boundaries to elicit and document requirements, draft user stories and acceptance criteria, maintain software development lifecycle (SDLC) documentation, and support test case development and execution. Over time, this role may expand to support additional programs and products across the broader Compliance Product Line. This position requires strong foundational analytical skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow within a compliance-driven, multi-system enterprise environment. You will work closely with senior team members, engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders, and should be ready to take direction effectively while progressively building independence and domain expertise.
What will you do in this role
· Elicit, document, and refine requirements for RPS integrations and enhancements under the guidance of the Senior Business Analyst and Technical Product Manager, ensuring clarity and completeness.
· Draft user stories and acceptance criteria aligned with business and compliance requirements, collaborating with senior team members to validate accuracy and scope.
· Maintain and update SDLC documentation, ensuring all artifacts are current, well-organized, and compliant with organizational standards.
· Support RPS integration efforts by assisting with discovery activities, documenting system dependencies across enterprise platforms systems (e.g., SAP, Wall Street Suite, Veeva CRM, and others), and tracking open items and action items.
· Assist with RPS Dashboards and Portal support, support in the design and delivery of enhancements, and helping to document change requests from the Global Trade Standards & Controls (GTSC) team within ECO.
· Develop, document, and execute test cases, and assist with test data preparation to support integration timelines and quality assurance efforts.
· Support stakeholder communications by preparing meeting materials, capturing meeting notes and action items, and following up on outstanding deliverables.
· Assist in monitoring issues related to external data providers, escalating data quality or compliance concerns as appropriate.
· Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, and helping to maintain team coordination artifacts (e.g., backlog grooming, vacation calendars).
· Support teams seeking to integrate with the RPS platform, assisting with routine requests such as API access and test data needs, and escalating complex issues as appropriate.
· Contribute to broader Compliance Product Line initiatives as the portfolio evolves, applying and developing business analysis skills across additional compliance programs and technology solutions in partnership with the Ethics & Compliance Office.
· Work within a matrix organizational structure, reporting to both the functional manager and collaborating with the Product Manager. Participate in product planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with both functional and product goals.

Must Have
· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 5+ years of overall professional experience, including 3+ years of hands-on business analysis experience, preferably in enterprise or regulated industry environments (pharmaceutical, life sciences, compliance, or similar).
· Solid foundational skills in requirements elicitation, documentation, and user story development, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
· Experience with SDLC documentation practices and an understanding of software development lifecycle processes.
· Experience developing and executing test cases and supporting quality assurance activities.
· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience participating in Agile ceremonies.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and take direction from senior team members.
· High degree of initiative, curiosity, and adaptability, with a desire to grow into increasing levels of responsibility and independence.
Nice-to-Have / Beneficial
· Familiarity with enterprise system landscapes and the ability to understand and document system dependencies and data flows with guidance from senior team members.
· Exposure to or foundational experience in dashboard/portal support or business intelligence/reporting solutions.
· Knowledge of enterprise risk & compliance frameworks, supply chain processes and platforms, or experience with ServiceNow.
