Job Description & Summary: A career within….

Responsibilities:

PwC India is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to support large-scale data migration, modernization, and analytics initiatives on the Databricks Lakehouse Platform. The Data Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing data across multiple source systems, designing robust data models, and ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and quality of data ingested and transformed into Databricks. 

Analyze data from multiple source systems to understand business requirements, data structures, and integration needs.

Design and document data models to support migration, ingestion, and transformation of data into Databricks.

Perform source-to-target mapping, data profiling, and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of migrated data.

Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to translate functional requirements into scalable data models.

Mandatory skill sets:

Proven ability to analyze data from multiple source systems to understand business requirements, data structures, and integration needs. 

Hands-on experience designing and documenting data models to support migration, ingestion, and transformation of data into Databricks. 

Strong expertise in source-to-target mapping, data profiling, and validation to ensure accuracy, completeness, and quality of migrated data.

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to translate functional requirements into scalable data models.

Preferred skill sets:

Hands-on experience with Databricks Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables (DLT), and Medallion architecture for scalable data ingestion and transformation.

Familiarity with data profiling and quality tools such as Great Expectations, Informatica DQ, or Collibra for source-to-target validation.

Exposure to data modeling tools (Erwin, ER/Studio, dbt, SqlDBM) and metadata/lineage platforms (Purview, Alation).

Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
