Tax Pooling Solutions (TPS) is a specialist business within PwC New Zealand, helping businesses manage their tax obligations with greater flexibility and confidence. Our collaborative team combines technical expertise with exceptional client service to deliver practical solutions that make a real impact.
Kick-start your career as a Junior Business Analyst within our Tax Pooling Solutions (TPS) team. In this role, you'll support the ongoing improvement of our digital platforms and business processes, working alongside experienced technology and business professionals to deliver reliable, user-focused solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate or early-career professional to build hands-on experience in business analysis, testing, and technology delivery while learning in a collaborative, supportive environment where your ideas and development are valued.
Your day-to-day could include:
Supporting the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of our digital platforms and business processes.
Investigating system issues, managing support requests, and helping coordinate solutions to keep our systems running smoothly.
Working with business stakeholders to understand requirements, map processes, and identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
Assisting with the delivery of system enhancements by supporting requirements gathering, testing (including UAT), defect management, and implementation activities.
Collaborating with Project Managers, Technical Leads, Designers, and Developers to deliver reliable, user-focused solutions.
Maintaining project documentation, product backlogs, and knowledge resources to support effective delivery and continuous improvement.
Staying up to date with emerging technologies, including AI and automation, and contributing ideas to enhance our products and ways of working.

Tertiary qualifications in Information Systems, Business, Commerce, Technology or related discipline.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with a range of stakeholders.
A genuine interest in technology, digital products, and emerging technologies such as AI and automation.
A collaborative mindset, curiosity to learn, and a proactive approach to solving problems.
Exposure to business analysis, software testing, or technology projects through your studies, work experience, or personal projects.
Familiarity with Agile ways of working and tools such as Jira is an advantage, but not essential.
