This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tech Lead de Dados (Data & Analytics / Martech) based in Brazil.
In this role, you will act as a technical reference point for data engineering and analytics initiatives within complex, large-scale environments. You will lead the design and evolution of modern data architectures, spanning batch and real-time processing, while ensuring scalability, reliability, and governance across all data assets. The position requires close collaboration with business and marketing teams, especially in CRM and Martech ecosystems, translating business needs into robust technical solutions. You will also play a key role in defining standards, promoting engineering best practices, and guiding architectural decisions across platforms. In addition, you will mentor engineers, fostering technical growth and raising the overall maturity of the data team. This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role focused on driving impact through data, AI, and cloud technologies.
Accountabilities:
- Lead the technical direction of the data team, acting as a reference for architecture, engineering standards, and best practices.
- Design and evolve scalable data architectures for batch and streaming processing environments.
- Translate business requirements into efficient, scalable, and high-quality data solutions.
- Work closely with business and marketing teams, especially in CRM and Martech ecosystems.
- Define and enforce data governance, quality, security, and observability standards.
- Support strategic decisions on data platforms, tools, and integration architectures.
- Promote engineering best practices such as modular design, testing, CI/CD, and monitoring.
- Mentor and develop data engineers, fostering technical excellence and team growth.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in data engineering and architecture, especially event-driven and analytics-oriented systems.
- Solid experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark or PySpark.
- Advanced programming skills in Python.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Airflow.
- Hands-on experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks.
- Experience with messaging and streaming technologies like Kafka.
- Strong cloud experience, preferably AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR, Redshift, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of data modeling, data pipelines, and analytical architectures.
- Experience with large-scale distributed data systems.
- Experience with CRM, CDP, and Martech ecosystems (Salesforce experience is a plus).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, version control, observability, and data governance practices.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to solve complex data problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Hands-on leadership profile with strategic vision and execution capability.
