Oracle EPM Consultant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Oracle EPM Consultant based in India.

This role is focused on designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade Oracle Cloud EPM solutions that enable robust financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders to translate financial requirements into scalable technical solutions across Oracle EPM applications, with a strong emphasis on EPBCS. The position involves both functional and technical responsibilities, including application design, configuration, and performance optimization. You will also contribute to integrations, automation, and process improvements across financial systems using modern scripting and API-based tools. In addition, you will support critical financial close and planning cycles while ensuring system accuracy, governance, and compliance standards. This is a hands-on consulting role ideal for someone experienced in delivering end-to-end EPM solutions in complex enterprise environments.

Accountabilities:

  • Design, develop, implement, and support Oracle Cloud EPM solutions with a primary focus on EPBCS-based planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Configure and maintain Oracle EPM modules including EPBCS, FCCS, PCMCS, and ARCS, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into scalable functional and technical EPM solutions.
  • Develop and maintain EPM components such as forms, dashboards, business rules, calculation scripts, and metadata structures.
  • Design and manage multidimensional applications using Essbase architecture and best practices.
  • Build and support integrations between Oracle EPM and external systems, ensuring reliable data flow and consistency.
  • Develop automation solutions using Groovy business rules, EPM Automate, REST APIs, shell scripts, and batch processes.
  • Support data loading, validation, reconciliation, and financial close activities across EPM environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve EPBCS and FCCS production and development issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure adherence to governance, security, and development standards while contributing to continuous process improvements.
  • Requirements:

    • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud EPM applications.
    • Strong mandatory expertise in EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service).
    • Proven experience working with FCCS, PCMCS, and ARCS modules.
    • Strong understanding of Essbase architecture and multidimensional database concepts.
    • Hands-on experience in EPM application development, including forms, business rules, calculation scripts, and metadata management.
    • Ability to design, develop, and support end-to-end Oracle EPM solutions in enterprise environments.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and system accuracy.
    • Experience working with integrations and automation using APIs and scripting tools.
    • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
    • Strong communication skills to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
