This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Retirements & Recordkeeping) based in the United States.
This role plays a critical part in shaping and delivering large-scale retirement and recordkeeping solutions for complex enterprise clients. You will act as a key bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring retirement platforms are accurately configured and aligned with regulatory, operational, and client requirements. The position requires deep domain expertise in US retirement services, along with strong analytical and systems thinking capabilities. You will contribute to end-to-end initiatives including plan onboarding, data integration, and digital experience enhancements for sponsors, participants, and advisors. Working in a highly collaborative environment, you will engage closely with operations, product, and IT teams to translate complex retirement rules into scalable system solutions. This is a high-impact role where your expertise directly supports the efficiency and accuracy of retirement recordkeeping platforms used by large-scale clients. Accountabilities:
- Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business, functional, and system requirements across retirement and recordkeeping platforms.
- Support end-to-end plan onboarding activities, including data mapping, payroll integration, and system configuration alignment.
- Interpret retirement plan documents, legal provisions, and service agreements to ensure accurate system implementation.
- Work with platforms such as FIS Omni, FIS Relius, and SS&C TRAC to support configuration and enhancement initiatives.
- Perform impact analysis for system changes and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across multiple stakeholders.
- Collaborate with business, operations, and IT teams to ensure seamless delivery of retirement platform solutions.
- Contribute to improvements in digital experiences for sponsors, participants, and financial advisors.
- Support data analysis, system integration efforts, and troubleshooting to ensure platform accuracy and reliability.
Requirements:
- 12–15+ years of overall IT experience, including 8–10+ years in the US retirement and recordkeeping domain.
- Strong understanding of retirement plans such as 401(k), 403(b), and 457 plans.
- Hands-on experience with at least 2–3 of the following: FIS Omni, FIS Relius, SS&C TRAC, plan onboarding, payroll integration, or plan document interpretation.
- Strong knowledge of retirement service agreements, legal provisions, and recordkeeping workflows.
- Proficiency in SQL, data analysis, and system integration concepts.
- Proven experience working with large-scale retirement clients or enterprise recordkeeping platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management, communication, and requirements-gathering skills.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments is preferred.
- Ability to translate complex regulatory and business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
