Seer is a remote-first agency and a Certified B-Corp, with team members across the country. If an office environment is more your style, this position can also sit in our HQ office in Philadelphia. We can only consider candidates based in the US who can work continental US-based hours.
You, the Analytics Manager of our dreams, are the connective tissue between business strategy, customer behavior, experimentation, and measurement. You understand that modern analytics goes far beyond implementation. It requires helping clients navigate increasingly fragmented, AI-influenced customer journeys while building measurement strategies that drive confident decision-making.
This is an Account Manager role at Seer. You are a client-facing practitioner who owns relationships, drives strategy, and delivers results. You are equally comfortable discussing data layers and tag governance as you are facilitating conversations around KPIs, GEO test design, incrementality, and business outcomes.
The work splits roughly 60% traditional analytics and 40% GEO. On the analytics side you will architect measurement solutions, audit and QA implementations, and build frameworks that tie data to business outcomes. On the GEO side you will help clients measure visibility and performance across AI-powered search experiences, design and evaluate Test & Learn programs, and translate emerging signals into strategy. GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) measurement is a young discipline and we are building this capability together. What matters is your curiosity and analytical instincts, not existing GEO credentials.
Across both, you are AI-native. You use AI daily as a working partner, and you build systems, not just deliverables.
Role Highlights
Traditional Analytics (the 60%)
Strategize and architect large-scale digital analytics implementations for a handful of clients, primarily on platforms like Google Analytics 4 and Adobe Analytics
Audit new and existing implementations to identify gaps, find technical issues with code or configuration, and recommend the best feasible solution
Build measurement frameworks that move clients beyond sessions and conversions toward metrics that reflect real business outcomes and nonlinear customer journeys
Confidently implement analytics and marketing tags through Tag Management Systems, and meet with developers, IT, and clients to design solutions that fit their needs
Write clear technical documentation for team members, clients, and developers
GEO (the 40%)
Partner directly with clients to develop and operationalize GEO measurement strategies across AI-powered search experiences
Support Seer's GEO Test & Learn initiatives by defining hypotheses, establishing testing methodologies, identifying success metrics, and evaluating causal relationships between marketing activities and business outcomes
Distinguish correlation from incrementality through thoughtful experimental design and analytical rigor
Work cross-functionally with SEO, Paid Media, Creative, and Data teams to evaluate how AI-driven experiences influence awareness, behavior, conversion, and loyalty
AI-Native Across Both
Use Claude and other AI tools to generate analytical outputs, then translate those findings into clear, confident narratives for client and executive audiences
Build automations, workflows, prompts, and AI-assisted processes that improve how analytics work gets done
Treat dashboards, reports, and measurement frameworks as products that evolve over time, not one-time deliverables
Constantly ask "What can I build?" rather than "How do I do this manually?"
Challenge, coach, mentor, and provide feedback to peers and associates, helping elevate analytics and AI capabilities across the team
Essential Skills
You have advanced analytics implementation expertise involving behavioral tracking, ecommerce measurement, experimentation frameworks, and business outcome measurement
You are comfortable discussing incrementality, lift analysis, holdout methodologies, and causal inference concepts
You work effectively in AI tools, particularly Claude, to accelerate analysis, structure findings, and produce client-ready outputs as a daily working partner
You are naturally inclined to automate, improve, and simplify wherever possible, and you build prompts, workflows, agents, and repeatable systems that amplify impact
You take ownership of ambiguous problems, break them into actionable next steps, and bring solutions rather than just questions
You have strong organizational and project management capabilities and can manage your own workload and deadlines in a tool like Wrike, managing up when you hit blockers or competing priorities
You communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including translating data findings into executive-ready narratives
You have a genuine curiosity about emerging AI technologies and how they impact discoverability, customer behavior, and digital measurement
You have a strong sense of self, which means you can say no, deliver feedback, and confidently present the value you are driving for clients, even when things get challenging
You have a passion for mentoring teammates and elevating analytics capabilities across team
