This leadership role sits at the core of enterprise data strategy and healthcare analytics transformation, driving how data is leveraged to improve clinical outcomes, operational performance, and population health insights. You will build and lead a centralized analytics organization responsible for delivering scalable, high-quality insights across medical, clinical, financial, and operational domains. The role requires shaping a unified data vision that integrates claims, clinical, demographic, and social health datasets into actionable intelligence. You will partner closely with senior leadership to standardize KPIs, strengthen performance management frameworks, and enable consistent reporting across markets and business units. A key part of the mission is advancing predictive and prescriptive analytics capabilities that directly support care delivery and provider decision-making. This is a high-impact executive position where analytics is central to improving healthcare quality and system performance nationwide. You will operate at the intersection of data science, healthcare operations, and strategic leadership.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the enterprise analytics vision, building a scalable analytics organization, and ensuring data is transformed into actionable insights that drive healthcare and business performance.
- Lead the creation of an enterprise Analytics Center of Excellence integrating claims, clinical, EMR/EHR, operational, and external data sources.
- Define and standardize enterprise KPIs to ensure consistent performance measurement across markets, payers, and business units.
- Build and manage a high-performing analytics organization supporting clinical, financial, operational, and strategic stakeholders.
- Partner with data and technology leadership to ensure access to high-quality data assets, tools, and scalable analytics infrastructure.
- Develop advanced predictive and risk stratification models to support population health management and clinical decision-making.
- Establish data governance frameworks ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all analytics outputs.
- Deliver dashboards, reporting tools, and analytic products that support executive decision-making and performance tracking.
- Collaborate with clinical and research teams to enhance data-driven care models and outcomes improvement initiatives.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings deep experience in healthcare analytics leadership, advanced data modeling, and enterprise-scale data strategy.
- 10+ years of experience in data analytics, informatics, medical economics, or related fields.
- Extensive experience working with large-scale healthcare data, including claims, clinical, EHR/EMR, and behavioral health datasets.
- Proven leadership experience building and scaling analytics teams in complex, matrixed organizations.
- Strong expertise in performance management, KPI development, and enterprise data standardization.
- Experience developing predictive models, risk stratification frameworks, and population health analytics.
- Advanced understanding of data governance, data architecture, and analytics best practices.
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or analytical field required; Master’s preferred.
