Python Developer

We are looking for a Python Developer with a strong foundation in core (vanilla/pure) Python and Linux scripting to join our growing team in Cebu. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the fundamentals—writing efficient, clean Python code without heavy reliance on frameworks.

You will work on backend logic, automation scripts, and system-level integrations, primarily in a Linux environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using pure Python (vanilla Python)
• Write clean, efficient, and reusable code with strong emphasis on core language fundamentals
• Create and maintain Linux shell scripts (Bash) for automation and system operations
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver scalable solutions
• Debug, troubleshoot, and enhance existing scripts and applications
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Participate in code reviews and maintain best coding practices

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Python development
• Strong experience in core Python (no heavy framework dependency required)
• 1–2 years of experience in Linux Shell Scripting / Bash
• Solid understanding of:
  • Data structures and algorithms
  • File handling and scripting logic
  • Debugging and performance optimization
• Comfortable working in a Linux environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good communication and collaboration skills
