Sr ASP.Net Developer
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr ASP.Net Developer based in India.
This role is focused on building, maintaining, and optimizing scalable web applications using the Microsoft .NET stack in a collaborative offshore development environment. You will work on complex modules, contribute to system design discussions, and help translate client requirements into robust technical solutions. The position requires strong backend engineering skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work across multiple stages of the software development lifecycle. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including delivery managers, designers, and QA to ensure high-quality releases. The environment is structured, process-driven, and focused on delivering reliable, cost-effective solutions to global clients. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced .NET professional to work on diverse projects with meaningful ownership and technical depth.
Accountabilities:
- Analyze client requirements and contribute to requirement gathering and solution design for web-based applications.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance complex modules using ASP.NET, C#, and MVC architecture.
- Design and implement scalable software architecture in collaboration with internal development teams.
- Debug, refactor, and optimize existing code to improve performance, maintainability, and reliability.
- Manage source code versioning and configuration using standard development practices.
- Coordinate with delivery managers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Work across full software development lifecycle including development, integration, and testing phases.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.Tech or equivalent) is required.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience working with .NET MVC framework.
- At least 6 months of hands-on experience with .NET Core (2.0 or above).
- Strong expertise in ASP.NET, C#, OOPS concepts, and SQL database development.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with MVC architecture.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex development tasks.
- Experience working in structured development environments with version control systems.
- Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with distributed teams.
- Ability to manage priorities and contribute effectively in deadline-driven projects.
