At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done.
As a Professional Services Business Development Manager, you'll sit at the intersection of sales and delivery, partnering with enterprise account teams to identify services opportunities, build compelling proposals and ensure that customers realise value from their Snowflake investment faster.
You'll own bookings targets and pipeline forecasting for your accounts, but this isn't a traditional quota-carrying sales role. If you think like a seller, act like an advisor, and deliver like a consultant, this role was built for you.
You'll report into the ANZ Professional Services team, with dotted-line alignment to a Sales District Manager and Account Executives.
Services Sales Execution
Own the professional services sales lifecycle: identify, scope, propose and close engagements across new and existing clients
Achieve quarterly bookings targets and maintain a rolling pipeline forecast with strong command of your book of business
Develop customer use cases, SOWs and commercial proposals
Run deal reviews to ensure scope is well-defined, commercially sound, and positioned for customer success
Strategic Advisory
Lead discovery and roadmapping sessions with customer executives to translate business priorities (e.g., cost reduction, AI readiness, platform consolidation) into phased services engagements
Own the customer relationship between sales close and delivery kick-off — ensuring executive sponsors stay engaged and success criteria are clearly defined
Facilitate business value assessments, customer journey workshops, and strategic roadmaps as part of pre-sales and early delivery activities
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Snowflake GTM teams (account executives, deal desk, legal, PS leadership, and partner teams) to identify and close opportunities
Collaborate with delivery partners (SIs, GSIs, internal PS teams) to ensure seamless project execution
Develop expertise within your aligned market by working with Practice Directors, Sales, and Global Industry Leaders
Required:
10+ years in a BDM, services sales, or services delivery role, interfacing with executives on complex technical implementation projects
Direct experience in Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence, Cloud or AI
Strong understanding of data-driven business solutions (e.g., Customer Data Platforms, data sharing, AI/ML, personalisation)
Proven track record of meeting bookings and consumption targets
Ability to communicate and translate effectively across technical delivery teams and executive stakeholders — defining programs, milestones, success criteria, and resource plans
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent engagements independently
Differentiators:
Big 4 or boutique strategy consulting background
Experience designing and selling functional solution sets (e.g., Digital Marketing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing) or cross-functional digital transformation programs
Scale & impact: Snowflake's Professional Services team works with Australia's largest enterprises on high-value, strategically complex engagements — not routine implementations
Product tailwind: You'll be selling services for a platform that customers are actively investing in, with strong inbound demand
Career growth: This is a visible, cross-functional role with clear pathways into Practice Director, Services leadership, or Sales leadership positions
Team: Join a tight-knit, senior Australian PS team that operates with startup pace inside an established, well-resourced organisation
Snowflake is growing fast, and we’re scaling our team to help enable and accelerate our growth. We are looking for people who share our values, challenge ordinary thinking, and push the pace of innovation while building a future for themselves and Snowflake.
