Business Development Manager Japan

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our ever-evolving Commercial team and help us unleash the potential of every business.

What you’ll own

  • Drive new business by acquiring clients, generating leads, and building a strong prospect network
  • Manage the full sales cycle from pipeline creation to deal closure and onboarding of new merchants
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, including budgeting and maintaining a healthy pipeline of opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams (solutions, implementation, marketing) to progress deals and deliver client solutions
  • Engage clients through proposals, negotiations, events, and relationship management to meet sales targets
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong ability to leverage AI and digital tools to enhance decision-making, productivity, and business outcomes.
  • At least 5-10 years of proven success in business development, strategic sales, and account management within fintech, payments, or technology industries.
  • Strategic and innovative thinker who can solve complex problems and drive growth through creative solutions.
  • Solid commercial acumen with a track record of identifying opportunities and delivering sustainable revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills across stakeholders and global teams.
  • Proven ability to influence, align, and drive outcomes across cross-functional and matrix organizations.
  • Growth-oriented, self-driven professional with integrity, curiosity, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.
