Data Analyst / Business Solution Consultant APAC (Payment Performance)

Make your mark at one of the biggest names in payments. We’re looking for a Data Analyst to join our ever-evolving Enterprise VAS & GTM team within Payment Performance and help us unleash the potential of every business.

What you’ll own

  • Data-Driven Insights & Storytelling
    Transform complex data into clear, actionable insights using analysis and visualization to track performance and identify trends across issuers, schemes, and platforms.
  • Performance Optimization
    Use data to improve authorization, authentication, and routing efficiency, delivering measurable gains such as higher approval rates, cost savings, and revenue protection.
  • Trend Identification & Issue Resolution
    Detect recurring issues and patterns, and drive long-term, systemic improvements in collaboration with issuers and internal teams.
  • Project Intake & Delivery Management
    Manage the pipeline of optimization initiatives, including requirement gathering, prioritization, task allocation, and tracking progress and outcomes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    Act as a bridge between data insights and business outcomes by working with internal teams and external partners, and communicating effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Other related duties assigned as needed.

What you’ll bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience within Payments.
  • Broad knowledge of Worldpay products and related services; in-depth knowledge of products and services for which team(s) provide support.
  • Basic knowledge of data analysis and visualization skills i.e. Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Snowflake, SQL and IT technologies, i.e., operating systems, network devices, software development and architecture.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors.
  • Curiosity and excellent communication, problem-solving, time management and project management skills.
  • Willingly shares relevant technical and/or industry knowledge and expertise to other resources.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Deep understanding of the payments industry and authorization pathways (e.g., gateways, platforms, acquirers, networks, issuers, etc.).
  • Experience with Authorization investigation & resolution, strong analytical skills to understand investigation approaches of team & get involved in the most complex matters.
  • Some flexibility of hours is required.

It’s a bonus if you have

  • Strong existing connections within the Worldpay business (e.g., Product, Commercial or Operational) & ability to drive new cross-business collaboration.
  • Knowledge and experience with differing platforms (e.g., WPG, VAP, NAP) and merchant profiles.
