The role
We’re looking for a Senior Business Development Manager to take ownership of one of our most valuable NSW/ACT territories, driving origination growth, unlocking new opportunities, and scaling a high-performing broker portfolio.
This isn’t a “manage what exists” role. This is a hands-on, externally facing hunter role for someone who knows how to find opportunity, build momentum, and convert it into revenue.
If you thrive in fast-paced environments, and know how to balance face-to-face influence with high-volume execution, this is where you’ll excel.
What you'll be doing
Drive origination through activity and influence
- Combine road-based relationship building with structured outbound activity (calls, follow-ups, re-engagement)
- Present Prospa’s value proposition in a way that stimulates repeat deal flow
- Convert partner engagement into consistent pipeline and settlement outcomes
Hunt and create new opportunities
- Identify and win new referral partnerships across your territory
- Spot untapped opportunity within existing networks and unlock growth pockets
- Stay close to market trends, competitor activity, and partner needs
What you'll need to succeed

Proven success in a senior, externally facing BDM or channel sales role

Experience managing and growing large, complex portfolios

Strong exposure to broker, aggregator or intermediary channels (highly regarded)

Ability to plan, segment and prioritise for maximum commercial impact

A true hunter mindset - proactive, driven and opportunity-focused

Highly disciplined with activity, pipeline and follow-through

Confident presenting to brokers, business owners and stakeholders

Ability to translate value into clear commercial benefit
