Are you a Registered Nurse interested in expanding your experience in clinical research and patient-centered care?
IQVIA is seeking qualified Registered Nurses to support clinical trial patients through in-home visits. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative research while maintaining a flexible schedule. Nurses will assist with study-related procedures, data collection, sample handling, and investigational product administration in a professional home-care environment.
This position is ideal for PRN, part-time, freelance, or independent nurses seeking supplemental income and exposure to clinical trials.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct patient home visits in accordance with study protocols and clinical standards.
Collect study-related samples, information, and clinical data.
Perform blood draws, vital signs collection, and urine testing.
Administer investigational product (SC medication administration required for this study).
Accurately label, process, and ship collected samples.
Monitor and report adverse events (AEs) and serious adverse events (SAEs).
Complete visit documentation, reporting, and electronic notes within required timelines.
Maintain professional and compliant interactions with patients, caregivers, and study stakeholders.
Follow all applicable FDA, HIPAA, Pharma, and study-specific compliance guidelines.
Perform glycemic status checks and other protocol-specific procedures as required.
Responsibilities may vary depending on the assigned clinical trial.
Qualifications
Active RN license in Brazil.
BLS certification required.
Recent phlebotomy/blood draw experience required.
Experience administering injectable medications, preferably subcutaneous (SC) administration.
Previous home health, infusion, clinical research, or patient-care experience preferred.
Comfortable using basic computer software and electronic documentation systems.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Flexible availability, including morning or early afternoon visits.
Ability to travel locally and regionally as needed.
Must have reliable transportation, internet access, and a mobile phone.
Ability to stand, bend, or kneel for extended periods when required.
Freelance nurses, independent contractors, or nurses willing to register as freelancers for the project are encouraged to apply.

Adult patient population.
Patient located in Belo Horizonte, Brazil.
Participation in the Alexion clinical study.
In-home administration of subcutaneous investigational medication.
