Summary:
As a Data Modeler, a typical day involves engaging closely with various stakeholders including business representatives, data owners, end users, application designers, and data architects. The role focuses on understanding existing data structures and designing new data models that align with business needs and technical requirements. This position requires continuous collaboration and communication to ensure that data models are accurate, efficient, and support the organization's objectives. The Data Modeler plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between business goals and technical implementation by translating complex requirements into effective data solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to ensure data models meet both current and future business requirements.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall capabilities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align data modeling strategies with organizational goals.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in IBM Netezza.
- Experience in designing and implementing complex data models to support business intelligence and analytics.
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts and data warehousing principles.
- Ability to optimize data models for performance and scalability within large data environments.
- Familiarity with data integration techniques and tools to ensure seamless data flow across systems.
- Skilled in collaborating with technical and non-technical stakeholders to gather and refine data requirements.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in IBM Netezza.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
