As a Staff Data Scientist and Technical Lead Manager for Search Ads in the Ads Metrics Data Science team, you will lead a team of data scientists directly contributing to Google's revenue growth.
You will support the Search Ads and Google Experience organization in developing some of the most important ad products at Google, which are complex, advanced, and rapidly growing.
In this role, you will guide product development and executive decisions with rigorous data science, measuring the long-term impact of changes on users, advertisers, and Google's systems with innovative experiment designs and deep data analysis.
In this role, you will work closely with engineering and product management collaborators to improve products and partner with ads executives to drive long-term business value.

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 10 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL) (or 8 years work experience with a Master's degree).
- 3 years of experience as a people manager within a technical leadership role.
- Experience working with digital advertising systems or online advertising metrics.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
- 12 years of work experience using analytics to solve product or business problems, performing statistical analysis, and coding (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
- 4 years of experience as a people manager within a technical leadership role.
