With your technical expertise you will manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables. You will design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
As a part of Search Ads Serving, you will build the infrastructure and quality machinery powering ads on all Google Search queries, including queries to e-commerce partners and Google owned and operated properties. You will join thousands of engineers across dozens of feature and quality teams developing this system.
In this role, you will help support numerous launches through a constantly evolving system, providing APIs, testing frameworks and tools/processes that enable high developer productivity and operational excellence.
As a part of Search's pivot toward AI-first experiences through AI Overview and AI Mode, you will help evolve the Ads Serving stack and prepare it for next-gen AI/Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities.Google Ads is helping power the open internet with the best technology that connects and creates value for people, publishers, advertisers, and Google. We’re made up of multiple teams, building Google’s Advertising products including search, display, shopping, travel and video advertising, as well as analytics. Our teams create trusted experiences between people and businesses with useful ads. We help grow businesses of all sizes from small businesses, to large brands, to YouTube creators, with effective advertiser tools that deliver measurable results. We also enable Google to engage with customers at scale. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $174000 - $253000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience programming in C++.
- 3 years of experience developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- 3 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- 5 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Understanding how large-scale systems work and how their components interact.
- Experience with Throughput and Latency, Automation.
