This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior/Staff Smart Contract Engineer based in the United States.
This role sits at the core of a rapidly evolving on-chain financial infrastructure stack, where you will design and build the smart contract systems that power collateral markets, DeFi primitives, and next-generation financial products. You will work across mature production-grade protocols as well as greenfield systems, contributing directly to how capital is secured, coordinated, and made productive onchain. The environment is highly technical and security-focused, requiring strong ownership over correctness, efficiency, and robustness at scale. You will design foundational primitives such as vaults, lending mechanisms, staking systems, and extensible protocol modules used by institutional-grade participants. A significant part of your work will involve extending and hardening existing systems while also architecting entirely new financial building blocks. You will collaborate closely with protocol engineers, security reviewers, and product-minded builders in a fast-paced, high-trust environment. This is a hands-on role for engineers who want to shape the foundational layer of on-chain finance.
