Leidos is seeking a Data Operations & Production Support Lead to support CDC public health data management, analytics, reporting, and operational support activities.

This position serves as the lead for production operations, workflow management, user support, technical assistance coordination, operational reporting, and service delivery across multiple CDC public health data systems and analytics platforms. The successful candidate will work closely with program leadership, technical teams, data managers, analysts, and external stakeholders to ensure reliable, efficient, and timely delivery of operational services.

*This position requires U.S. Citizenship and is contingent upon award.

**Candidates in the Atlanta, GA area preferred. Remote work permitted with periodic travel to CDC facilities and customer meetings as required.

Primary Responsibilities

Production Operations and Service Delivery

  • Lead day-to-day operational support activities for CDC data management and analytics platforms.

  • Monitor operational workflows, data submissions, processing activities, and production schedules.

  • Coordinate issue identification, triage, escalation, resolution, and communication activities.

  • Support continuity of operations and operational readiness activities.

  • Track operational metrics, service levels, and performance indicators.

User Support and Technical Assistance

  • Coordinate technical assistance requests, user support activities, and stakeholder inquiries.

  • Monitor request intake, assignment, prioritization, and resolution processes.

  • Develop operational procedures, user guides, and support documentation.

  • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities for users and stakeholders.

Operational Reporting and Coordination

  • Develop and maintain operational dashboards, reports, status updates, and performance metrics.

  • Support project status reviews, operational meetings, and stakeholder briefings.

  • Coordinate knowledge transfer activities and operational transition planning.

  • Support release planning, deployment coordination, and post-release monitoring activities.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with CDC program staff, technical teams, data managers, and external partners.

  • Facilitate communication between operational, technical, and business stakeholders.

  • Support process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency efforts.

  • Identify operational risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Health Informatics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline.

  • 8+ years of experience supporting public health informatics, data operations, service delivery, analytics platforms, or related operational environments.

  • Experience supporting data systems, reporting platforms, surveillance systems, or analytics environments.

  • Experience managing operational workflows, issue tracking, user support, and stakeholder coordination.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar workflow management tools.

  • Experience developing operational reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting CDC, HHS, or other Federal public health agencies.

  • Experience supporting public health surveillance, reporting, analytics, or data modernization initiatives.

  • Familiarity with EDAV, 1CDP, Azure DevOps, Power BI, SharePoint, SQL, and related CDC analytics environments.

  • Experience supporting technical assistance, knowledge transfer, and operational transition activities.

  • Experience with HHS Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) processes.

  • Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), PMP, Agile, or similar certification.

  • Experience supporting multi-source public health data integration and reporting environments.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $107,900.00 - $195,050.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
