This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced data engineering professional to build and scale modern data platforms that support mission-critical business operations and advanced analytics. Working at the intersection of engineering, product, and customer success, you will design high-performance data solutions while partnering directly with enterprise clients to solve complex data challenges. You will contribute to cloud-native architectures, optimize large-scale data processing, and help shape innovative AI-driven applications. The role offers significant ownership, technical influence, and cross-functional collaboration in a fully remote environment focused on innovation, customer success, and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner with enterprise customers and internal stakeholders to understand business challenges, define technical requirements, and deliver scalable data solutions from discovery through implementation.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable batch and real-time data pipelines using Databricks, ClickHouse, Python, SQL, and distributed data processing technologies.
  • Architect and optimize cloud-native data platforms leveraging technologies such as Delta Lake, Azure Data Services, and modern ETL/ELT frameworks.
  • Develop reliable data models, quality monitoring processes, orchestration workflows, and data products that support analytics, reporting, AI/ML, and operational applications.
  • Optimize platform scalability, performance, reliability, security, governance, and cost efficiency across large-scale datasets.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Solutions teams while contributing to architecture reviews, platform evolution, and engineering best practices.
  • Mentor junior engineers, promote technical excellence, and support continuous improvement across engineering initiatives.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data platform development, or similar technical roles.
    • Strong expertise with Databricks, Apache Spark, Delta Lake, or comparable distributed data processing technologies.
    • Experience with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure, and modern cloud-native architectures.
    • Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL, along with strong software engineering fundamentals.
    • Hands-on experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, analytical data platforms, and modern data warehouse solutions.
    • Experience with ClickHouse or similar high-performance analytical databases.
    • Solid understanding of data modeling, data governance, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and infrastructure automation.
    • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
    • Ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and succeed in customer-facing technical engagements.
    • Experience with Terraform, AI/ML infrastructure, streaming architectures, Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Enterprise SaaS environments is considered an advantage.
