UX Designer, AI Developer Experience

From creating user flows and wireframes to building mockups and prototypes, you will envision and bring product experiences to life with an inspired, refined, and magical feel. You will join our multi-disciplinary UX team, collaborating with Engineering and Product Management, leveraging user insights to create industry-leading products.

As an Interaction Designer, you'll apply user-centered design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences from concept to execution, working with design partners to evolve the Google design language to build beautiful, innovative products.

User experience is at the forefront of how we create intuitive, innovative, and beautiful products that people love. We strive to learn and understand our users’ needs, behaviors, and emotions to gather insights that inform product strategy and design. Our UX teams include designers, researchers, content strategists, and engineers who are passionate about quality, usability, and simplicity. Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 1 year of interaction design experience in product design or UX design.
  • Experience in prototyping interactive design concepts to test ideas (e.g., Figma, Claude).
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., product managers, engineers, or researchers) to build digital products.
  • Include a portfolio, website, or any other relevant link to your work in your resume (providing a viewable link or access instructions).

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Familiarity with, or a strong interest in, designing for AI, machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), or agentic workflows.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to explain design rationale and translate technical complexity into intuitive user experiences.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguous problem spaces with guidance from executive UX leaders.
