As a product designer at Meta, you’ll have the opportunity to play a central role in the way we build technologies — ensuring they are valuable, easy to use and of the highest level of craft and execution. You’ll be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next great product innovation to tweaking pixels right before launch. This posting represents different full-time roles across the Meta company. Work independently to complete projects at the level of whole features within a well scoped domain. Design flows and experiences that are incredibly simple and elegant for our supported platforms. Design new experiences or layouts that evolve or define visual systems. Give and solicit feedback from other designers in order to continually raise our bar for quality. Partner with product managers, engineers, UX researchers and content strategists to iterate and oversee the user experience of a product from conception until launch. Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field 4+ years designing complex software products with a focus on user experience, interaction, and visual design that meet business objectives Conducts advanced usability testing and gathers feedback from diverse stakeholders to inform product strategy Develops and implements design strategies, leads design efforts, and presents to executive-level stakeholders Proficiency in prototyping tools and building high-fidelity prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts Experience prototyping emerging technologies with physical computing, haptics, wearables, or machine learning techniques, AI Experience working within a technology research organization Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative methods for user research Familiarity with Figma, Unity, or Adobe Creative Suite Experience designing and leading in cross-functional environments Strong communication and personal management skills Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements) Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews) Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
