Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by proactively monitoring and investigating issues across various critical business systems. This role requires a dynamic approach to identifying root causes and resolving complex problems to ensure seamless system performance. The position demands continuous vigilance and collaboration with different teams to maintain the stability and reliability of essential applications, contributing significantly to business continuity and operational excellence.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze system issues and implement effective resolutions.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential risks or bottlenecks.
- Assist junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Splunk Administration.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Solarwinds Administration, Dynatrace Administration.
- Strong understanding of log management and data analysis within enterprise environments.
- Experience in configuring and maintaining monitoring tools to ensure system health.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application performance and availability.
- Familiarity with alerting mechanisms and incident management processes.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Splunk Administration.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
