As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. The engineer plays a pivotal role in shaping the application s architecture and functionality while maintaining a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet client and organizational needs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies and methodologies to enhance project outcomes.
- Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- Experience in developing and optimizing custom reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms within the SAP environment.
- Strong knowledge of database programming and performance tuning specific to SAP HANA.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Familiarity with debugging, testing, and troubleshooting SAP ABAP programs to ensure robust application performance.
- Experience in collaborating with functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
