Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves designing, building, and configuring applications tailored to fulfill specific business process and application needs. This role requires a thoughtful approach to understanding organizational requirements and translating them into effective software solutions. The workday is often spent collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure that the applications developed align with business goals and provide seamless functionality. Continuous refinement and adjustment of the software components are integral to maintaining optimal performance and user satisfaction throughout the development lifecycle.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements for application development.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application issues to ensure smooth operation.
- Document design specifications and application configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and sharing best practices.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Workday Core HCM.
- Experience in configuring and customizing Workday modules to align with business processes.
- Strong understanding of application design principles and software development lifecycle.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with integration techniques and data management within Workday environments.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Workday Core HCM.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
