As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to understand and clarify business needs. You will engage in designing tailored software solutions that align with organizational processes and objectives. Your role includes analyzing requirements, contributing to the architectural design, and ensuring that the applications developed effectively support business operations. Throughout the day, you will participate in discussions to refine application features and work towards delivering solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience within the company.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze application requirements.
- Support the continuous improvement of software development processes and methodologies.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving application-related issues to maintain optimal performance.
- Document technical specifications and design decisions to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members to foster professional growth.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Basis Administration.
- Experience with system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within SAP environments.
- Knowledge of database management and backup strategies related to SAP systems.
- Familiarity with transport management and system upgrades in SAP landscapes.
- Understanding of security concepts and user administration in SAP platforms.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration.
- This position is based at our Gurugram office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
