This is a senior digital production and development role focused on building, testing, and optimizing high-performance email and web experiences within Salesforce Marketing Cloud. You will be responsible for developing responsive HTML emails, CloudPages, and interactive landing experiences that are visually accurate, technically robust, and fully compatible across multiple email clients and devices. The role combines strong front-end development skills with deep Marketing Cloud expertise, including AMPscript, SSJS, and data-driven personalization logic. You will collaborate closely with designers, CRM strategists, and marketing teams to deliver scalable, reusable components that power personalized customer journeys. A strong emphasis is placed on QA, rendering accuracy, and debugging across complex environments to ensure flawless execution. This is a detail-driven, high-ownership role ideal for developers who enjoy blending creativity, precision, and marketing technology at scale.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive HTML email templates and CloudPages within Salesforce Marketing Cloud for promotional, transactional, and journey-based campaigns.
  • Ensure pixel-perfect implementation of designs while maintaining cross-client compatibility across major email platforms (Outlook, Gmail, Apple Mail, etc.).
  • Write and maintain AMPscript and SSJS logic for dynamic personalization, conditional rendering, and data-driven email and CloudPage experiences.
  • Build and manage reusable modular components in Content Builder to support scalable and efficient campaign production.
  • Develop interactive CloudPages using JavaScript and jQuery, including forms, validation logic, and user journey flows.
  • Perform end-to-end QA and testing using tools like Litmus or Email on Acid, ensuring rendering accuracy, functional integrity, and responsive behavior across devices.
  • Debug and resolve issues related to forms, data capture, API interactions, tracking scripts, and campaign logic across SFMC environments.
  • Requirements:

    • 7–11 years of experience in web development, marketing operations, or email development roles with strong HTML/CSS expertise.
    • Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, CloudPages).
    • Expert-level HTML/CSS skills with deep understanding of table-based layouts, inline styling, and email client rendering quirks.
    • Proficiency in AMPscript for personalization, dynamic content, and data-driven email logic.
    • Working knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery for CloudPage interactivity and form handling.
    • Experience with email testing and QA tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid, including structured testing and defect management.
    • Familiarity with SFMC APIs (REST/SOAP), SQL for Data Extensions, and tracking tools like Google Tag Manager is a plus.
    • Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to manage complex multi-step production workflows.
    • Good understanding of email compliance standards (GDPR, CAN-SPAM) and deliverability best practices.
