Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues that arise within various components of essential business systems. The position demands continuous interaction with different teams to maintain system stability and support business continuity through effective problem-solving and timely interventions.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to improve system performance and reliability by identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall technical capabilities.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to prioritize and address critical issues promptly.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Financials.
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot complex application issues.
- Experience in managing and supporting enterprise-level financial software systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly articulate technical information to diverse audiences.
- Familiarity with system monitoring tools and incident management processes.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Oracle Financials.
- This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
