Required Skills & Qualifications
3–4 years of professional experience in IT support, application administration, or systems administration.
Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience administering Jira Cloud.
Strong understanding of Jira Cloud project configuration, including company-managed and team-managed projects.
Experience configuring workflows, issue types, screens, custom fields, field configurations, permission schemes, notification schemes, and issue layouts, user and group management.
Experience with Atlassian Automation for creating and maintaining automation rules.
Proficiency in JQL for creating filters, dashboards, and reports.
Familiarity with user management, groups, project roles, and access administration in Jira Cloud.
Basic knowledge of Atlassian Marketplace apps (e.g., ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud, Extension for Jira, or similar apps).
Experience working with Agile teams and supporting project management processes.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
Ability to gather business requirements, implement Jira configurations, and provide end-user guidance and training.
Nice to Have
Atlassian Certified Professional (ACP) certification related to Jira or Jira Cloud Administration.
Experience integrating Jira Cloud with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps/Power Automate), REST APIs, or third-party business applications.
Familiarity with Jira Cloud REST APIs, webhooks, Atlassian Automation advanced rules, and Forge or Connect app concepts.
Experience creating advanced JQL queries, automation rules, and dashboard/reporting solutions.
Exposure to migration projects or Jira Cloud implementation and optimization initiatives.
