Join Materials, Parts, Processes & Tests team
To contribute to fire certification of Aircraft interiors
Key responsibilities:
● Ensure Fire Properties Justification for Certification of Cabin Components
● Development of solutions and alternatives in the changing and challenging subject of cabin interior to support final assessment and approval of fire properties documentation
● Coordination and planning of work Contents, costs and schedules for cabin
development projects in close cooperation with internal CoCs
● Responsibility to develop and deploy correct specification and Definition for cabin
components in line with fire properties requirements
● Representing Cabin Fire Properties needs in internal/external projects, support good exchange with other functions
● Test Witnessing of Fire Properties qualification test at external flammability
laboratories
● Monitoring of component/material developments and set in context with qualification and certification needs and support in questions of material properties and production technologies
● Create documentation of current challenges and requirements in the field of cabin fire properties, close alignment with the Cabin fire Properties expert and certification team
● Vendor Management and Monitoring, close collaboration with risk share Partners and subcontractors, ensure the quality and consistency of technical agreements
● After sale/in Service Support like Service Bulletin, conversions/upgrades, in Service Support and repair solutions
Who Are Looking For
You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Material Engineering, Polymer, Aerospace Engineering, or an equivalent technical field.
5 to 8 years of high-impact professional experience within material fire properties, testing and certification.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in the development, testing and verification of cabin interior components
Experience of certification handling, quality assurance and in testing
Experience in technical standardization, procedures and tools of Airbus
Knowledge of Materials & Processes
Strong interest in developing yourself as specialist in the field of cabin fire properties
Team player and good communication skills towards different stakeholders
Structured and autonomous/self-reliant way of working
