NPI/Product Engineer – Cisco Silicon One

Coordinate multiple projects and/or teams in parallel to meet organizational priorities. Plan, execute, and monitor programs throughout the program life cycle to support the strategic direction of the organization. Manage program schedule, scope, and resources, adjusting to new requirements and constraints over the program lifecycle. Plan and implement program governance structures in an organized and controlled fashion to ensure that decision making is occurring with the right people involved. Regular communication of program delivery results and financial reporting to program stakeholders. Ongoing communications and change management supporting program objectives, adoption and maturity. Identification, monitoring, and control of program risk, issues, and escalations. Identification, monitoring and control of the interdependencies between projects. Upskill, retrain, and develop the team as needed to address all the resource requirements. What You'll do: • Decisions impact the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of own team; may impact closely- related teams through quality of output and service provided • Manages small projects with low to moderate risk; changes are usually internal to Cisco; there are only a few interdependencies, and the solution uses existing technology or requires a small modification to existing technology • Works on moderately complex problems and considers relative value of several alternative solutions to potential issues before confirming a final decision as to the path forward • Adopts and implements business and process improvements • Defines and validates project scope, project plan and schedule for moderately complex projects; defines metrics for project success; select and apply standards (e.g. delivery process, roles and responsibilities, operational norms, compliance) • Identifies risks to project success and creates mitigation plans • Manages project delivery process, scope and costs of moderately-complex projects under broad supervision; drives completion of the project • Manages stakeholder relationships; develops and executes communication plan • Manages change by identifying impacts of the project, building awareness and support for change within the organization and contributing to development of training • Evaluates project results against success metrics; recommends or implements changes to processes, resources and solutions that improve productivity and end product Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelors + 5 years of related project/program management experience • Associates certificate in project management preferred • Work is mostly autonomous. • Receives general guidance from Line Manager. • May provide training / guidance to new team members. • May lead projects and initiatives. Preferred Qualifications Varies based on the team and business needs | Preferred Qualifications are desired education, experience, and skills that are in addition to Minimum Qualifications.
