Key Responsibilities:
Become familiar with Video Platforms systems and architecture.
Represent SQE and act as QA champion within the squad.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (2-week sprints) and contribute to planning and estimation.
Create detailed test plans, test artifacts, and define appropriate testing levels.
Perform manual, automated, regression, API, backend, frontend, and performance testing.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks and test scripts.
Identify, document, and validate defects before production release.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
Mentor junior SQEs and conduct peer reviews.
Continuously improve QA processes and automation coverage.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering (or equivalent experience).
5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
Strong Java programming skills.
Experience with Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Playwright, and/or Cypress.
Experience in REST API testing and advanced SQL queries.
Familiarity with Jira, QMetry, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems.
Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter or Gatling).
Preferred:
AWS/cloud testing experience.
Exposure to media/entertainment domain.
Experience with Splunk, Datadog, CloudWatch.
Interest in AI-driven QA practices.
