Position Description:
Participates in testing and automation activities using Jira, X-ray, Cucumber, and Selenium. Facilitates alignment with automation standards and supports overall DevOps integration. Supports and performs Continuous Integration (CI) testing in a DevOps environment, using industry standard tools and techniques (Jenkins and Git repositories). Designs and develops Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) using RestAssured, Postman, and SoapUI. Develops applications in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and cloud platforms (Oracle and Snowflake). Uses business knowledge to translate the vision for divisional initiatives into business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications and conducting studies of alternatives. Analyzes and recommends changes in project development policies, procedures, standards, and strategies to development experts and management.

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing test automation using Java programming languages and version control systems in non-Production, Production, and financial services environments.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Principal Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) performing test automation using Java programming languages and version control systems in non-Production, Production, and financial services environments.
