Job Description:

Software Engineer Praxis Engineering creates exciting and novel mission solutions in the chaotic world of cyber related technologies and products. At the heart of Praxis Engineering are talented and motivated engineering teams empowered to create cutting edge technologies and systems to solve the nation’s most difficult Computer Network Operations challenges. Praxis has immediate openings for Software Engineers who are looking to tackle the unknown and create game-changing capabilities!

What you will be doing: A CNO Software Engineer researches, analyzes, and reverses objective software/hardware and subsequently designs, authors, enhances, verifies, and releases high-quality operational software which satisfies mission and foundational requirements.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required, and fourteen (14) years of experience as a Software Engineer, in programs and projects of similar scope, type, and complexity is required.

  • Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

  • Key skills in: C++, Objective-C, ARM assembly (thumb, 32, 64), Python, Reverse Engineering via IDApro, Ghidra, etc.

  • Familiarity with Wifi standards and protocols a plus

  •  Security clearance level: Active TS/SCI with Polygraph required
     

Specific duties include:

  • Comply with organizations’ documented test and release process

  • Examine and document ARM architecture and communicate behavior of objective systems to  stakeholders and teammates

  • Implement development in CI/CD methodology, utilizing GitLab for build/merges

  • Analyze operational requirements and foundational platform integration requirements to design and derive capability functional and quality requirements Low-level debugging of software and system defects

  • Design and implement software solutions capable of performing in resource restricted environments, typically in Objective C or C++ Write or review software and system documentation

  • Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components

  • Clearly communicating in a team environment with fellow engineers, stakeholders, and customers

The likely salary range for this position is $207,386 - $280,582. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
