Developer Relations Engineer

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $161,150 - $198,000 + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Learn more about benefits at Google.

Position reports to the Google Kirkland, WA office & may allow for a hybrid schedule per Google policy.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Marketing, Technical Communication, Business Strategy, or a related and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a Developer Relations Engineering-related occupation.
  • Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Marketing, Technical Communication, Business Strategy, or a related field, and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Developer Relations Engineering-related occupation.
  • Position requires 1 year of experience in the following: Identifying and triaging technical issues or leveraging debugging tools to isolate the source of technical problems. Developing an understanding of technological areas aligned with domain expertise or applying research skill-set to keep up with current or future technology trends. Communicating complex technical concepts to enable users to successfully engage with the subject technology. Understanding and anticipating user, customer, or audience goals and needs or prioritizing their perspective when tailoring solutions. Establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with teammates, clients, and stakeholders
