This role is integral to our Business Development and Digital Innovation efforts, where you will lead the design and delivery of modern, enterprise-grade software solutions that support corporate growth and operational excellence. You will operate across Microsoft Power Platform and broader engineering technologies, helping shape scalable, compliant, and high-impact digital solutions.
Your Key Responsibilities
Define and execute a strategic vision for software development aligned to corporate and digital transformation goals
Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
Establish best practices across low-code and pro-code development, including architecture patterns, code quality, and maintainability
Design and oversee solutions leveraging Power Apps (Canvas & Model-driven), Dataverse, and Power Automate
Define and govern Dataverse data models, security, and ALM practices
Integrate applications with enterprise systems (e.g., APIs, SAP, middleware platforms), designing scalable and reusable integration patterns
Ensure adherence to regulatory, data governance, and compliance standards
Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Production to deliver impactful solutions
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing clear updates on progress, risks, and outcomes
Drive adoption of automation, digital tools, and scalable platform solutions
Monitor KPIs to measure delivery effectiveness, engineering quality, and platform adoption
Lead audits and inspections related to software development processes
Stay current with emerging technologies and guide decisions on low-code vs. custom engineering approaches
Build team capability through training and promote a culture of learning and technical excellence
Apply a strong engineering mindset across all solutions, ensuring Power Platform is leveraged appropriately within a broader enterprise architecture—not as a stand‑alone or default approach
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
11+ years of experience in software development in a regulated industry (pharma, biotech, or similar)
Proven experience leading and scaling engineering teams
Strong expertise in Microsoft Power Platform, including: Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven), Dataverse (data modeling, security, governance), Power Automate (workflow automation and integration)
Experience building enterprise-grade applications and integration solutions (APIs, services, middleware)
Strong understanding of CI/CD, version control, testing, and deployment practices
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver complex initiatives
What Sets You Apart
Master’s degree preferred
Experience with enterprise-scale Power Platform implementations and governance
Experience integrating with systems such as SAP and cloud platforms (Azure, middleware tools)
Strong understanding of low-code vs. custom development trade-offs
Experience in compliance-driven environments with a focus on auditability and data integrity
Passion for building reusable frameworks, automation, and improving developer productivity
