Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Engineer Systems / Engineer Systems. This position will be located on-site at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Oklahoma City, OK. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Systems Engineering organization.
The selected candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Other duties include, but are not limited to:
Perform analyses at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Engineer Systems (T01) or Engineer Systems (T02).
Basic Qualifications for an Associate Engineer Systems (T01)
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027.
Be majoring in or having majored in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or similar STEM degree.
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Special Access Program clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
A final U.S. Government Secret security clearance is required to start.
Basic Qualifications for an Engineer Systems (T02)
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution by August 2027 or is completing or has completed their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of Systems Engineering experience by August 2027.
Be majoring in or having majored in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics or similar STEM degree.
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Special Access Program clearance within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
A final U.S. Government Secret security clearance is required to start
Preferred Qualifications
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
Pay Range
Associate Engineer Systems: $62,300 - $93,500/year
Engineer Systems: $75,100 to $112,700/year
