Job Summary
The Red Hat KSA Sales organization is seeking a Junior Account Solution Architect to join our Account Solution Architecture team based in Riyadh. This role is focused on supporting technical engagements across different accounts mainly in the public sector, assisting in delivering Red Hat’s value throughout the customer lifecycle from early discovery and solution design to adoption and growth.
Working under the guidance of senior architects, you will leverage foundational technical knowledge, an understanding of industry trends, and collaborative skills to help customers navigate standard situations with Red Hat's offerings. This role involves participating in cross-functional team initiatives—including sales, platform, services, and customer success—to ensure alignment, consistent execution, and the achievement of measurable outcomes.
Success relies on building positive client relationships, assisting with innovative and scalable designs, and driving sustained customer value through a proactive, customer-centric approach.
What you will do:
Assist in building relationships with technical teams at assigned customer accounts to understand their goals, challenges, and desired outcomes under the direction of senior staff.
Collaborate with senior architects to provide technical inputs and support the Sales team throughout the sales process.
Support the development of proposals and assist in responding to RFPs with foundational technical recommendations.
Assist in designing and presenting technical solutions that address customer challenges and align with business objectives.
Participate in technical sales conversations, helping articulate how Red Hat’s portfolio meets technical and organizational needs.
Support the engineering and sales teams in securing the technical win by preparing technical materials, setting up demo environments, and executing proofs of concept (PoC).
Provide foundational technical guidance and support to drive product adoption and resolve basic technical issues.
Conduct regular check-ins with customers under senior guidance to assess satisfaction and identify opportunities for expansion.
Document customer use cases and contribute to internal knowledge bases to act as a supportive voice of the customer within Red Hat.
What you will bring:
Foundational technical background with exposure to pre-sales activities, solution engineering, or technical customer support within Saudi Arabia.
Familiarity or foundational knowledge of Red Hat’s product portfolio, with interest or basic understanding in key technology domains such as hybrid cloud, automation (Ansible), containerization (Kubernetes/OpenShift), DevOps, and virtualization.
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain fundamental technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Exposure to or basic experience in customer success, technical account planning, or related customer-facing technical support roles.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and build supportive internal and external relationships.
Good discovery, problem-solving, and analytical skills to assist in uncovering customer requirements.
Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, leveraging Red Hat’s open culture.
Solid organization and prioritization skills across assigned tasks and customer accounts.
Basic business acumen with an interest in understanding how technical engagements impact business outcomes.
Willingness to travel as needed to support customer and business requirements.
