Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Automation, or related engineering disciplines (Master’s degree preferred).
5+ years of engineering/R&D/process management experience in manufacturing, with a preference for candidates from the fastener or related industries.
Strong knowledge of industrial fastener product design, manufacturing processes, and relevant standards, with proven experience in product development and project management.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other quality management systems; relevant project experience is a plus.
Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Good command of written and spoken English for technical communication.
Strong sense of innovation and market awareness, with the ability to drive product innovation based on market needs.
High level of integrity, responsibility, and alignment with company values.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES/任务和职责
Lead and manage the engineering team for industrial fastener products, overseeing product design, development, process optimization, and technical support to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
Organize and coordinate daily operations of the engineering department, including resource allocation, scheduling, budgeting, and progress tracking.
Drive the New Product Development (NPD) process, formulate and execute product development plans, and ensure products meet market and customer requirements.
Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, Purchasing, and other departments to achieve business objectives through effective cross-functional teamwork.
Continuously improve existing products by enhancing performance, reducing costs, and introducing innovative processes and technologies.
Monitor industry technology trends and promote the application of new technologies and processes to maintain the company’s technical leadership.
Develop, implement, and optimize engineering-related processes, standards, and policies to ensure compliance and operational efficiency.
Manage, mentor, and develop engineering team members, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
Oversee departmental budget management and cost control to ensure efficient use of resources.
Support intellectual property protection, including patent applications and the commercialization of technical achievements.
Participate in technical discussions with customers, providing professional engineering solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
Support quality improvement initiatives and promote the use of advanced quality management tools such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
