ABOUT THE TIGER BRANDS TOPP PROGRAM?
Are you a recent or soon-to-be graduate with a passion for finance and the ambition to qualify as a Chartered Accountant? The Tiger Brands TOPP Programme offers a dynamic and structured 36-month journey tailored for aspiring CA(SA)s. Exposure to the following disciplines forms the backbone of the programme:
- Internal Audit
- Governance and Assurance
- Financial Accounting
- Data Analytics
- Management Reporting and more
WHAT MAKES THE TIGER TOPP DIFFERENT?
Tiger Brands is a leading FMCG company operating across a diverse range of categories, including Culinary, Snacks, Treats & Beverages, Home & Personal Care, Grains, Logistics, and our Shared Services Centre.
Our business span’s multiple locations nationwide, with our Corporate Head Office based in Bryanston. As part of the TOPP programme, candidates will rotate across various sites in Gauteng according to their individual rotation plans. They may also be required to visit sites in other provinces to fulfil their responsibilities and gain broad, practical exposure to the business.
Top-performing candidates could gain valuable experience in Corporate Finance (including Mergers & Acquisitions), Treasury, Legal & Secretarial, and related areas.

WHO CAN APPLY?
- The programme is open to candidates wanting to qualify as Chartered Accountants and have SAICA-accredited Postgraduate Certificate in the Theory of Accounting (CTA) or Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (PGDA), who wish to complete their full 36-month SAICA training contract, and who will be writing the SAICA ITC exam in January.

Listed below are the minimum requirements that you are required to meet
- 65% Academic Average
- Citizen in the country of hire
- Having a personal vehicle is highly desirable
- High levels of ambition and self-motivation, supported by a strong desire for a career in FMCG, within Tiger Brands
- Leadership and team working capabilities
- Must have displayed the potential for high achievement and innovation throughout their qualifications.
- Recent graduate from a tertiary institution in South Africa
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
